Emma Watson named the new face of Lancome

Now that “Harry Potter” is coming to an end, Emma Watson is adding to her modeling resume. She’s been named the new face of Lancome.

The 20-year-old actress is the youngest star to front the international brand. She follows in the footsteps of other renowned actresses like Julia Roberts, Uma Thurman, and Juliette Binoche.

Watson, who’s designed and modeled for eco-friendly brand People Tree and starred in campaigns for Burberry, signed a reported six-figure deal with Lancome.

“It’s so exciting, I can’t wait to start shooting,” said Watson. “Although I don’t wear much make-up, I’m a big fan of Lancome products, especially their mascara.”

Watson is set to shoot with legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino, who has shot memorable covers for Vogue, V, and GW, and previous shot Watson before for her Burberry campaign.

The pixie-cropped actress is also set to star in television spots for the campaign, which are scheduled to debut later in the year.

Watson, meanwhile, will hit the big screen one last time as Hermione Granger in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” which hits theaters in July.
