Best Kept Secrets About Forex Trading Mentors

Secret 1

Not everyone who claims to be a mentor is actually a professional trader. How does the saying go? Those who know, do and those who don’t teach. I think that is an important thing to keep in mind.

There are several great professional traders who are great teachers, but those are few and far between. So keep that in mind next time a so called guru asks for your money. Check them out, look for reviews on the internet. Just be sure to do your due diligence.

Secret 2

However, also keep in mind that there will always be bad reviews about any mentor. This is secret number two. 95% of the population will fail to be successful in their lifetime because they do not take responsibility for their actions.

This translates into not taking responsibility for their trading and blaming the mentor for their shortcomings. You can tell that they are this kind of person because they will blame everything and everyone except themselves for losing all their money. They will blame the market, the news that came out, their broker for running their stops and they will blame the forex trading mentor for everything in between.

So even though you should do your due dilligence, also read those reviews with a grain of salt. Try to see if the course is really bad or the reviewer is a loser and does not take responsibility for their actions.

Secret 3

By the same token, be cautious of reviews that are too good. Sometimes people will hype up the course because they know the mentor or it could be the mentor himself.

What you are looking for is a person that posts actual results over a period of time. Of course this could be fake too, but it is more likely that it is not. The reason is that many students are initially impressed with a course, but stop using it after awhile.

Also look for people who actually took the course. Sometimes people say that it looks good, but never actually took the course.

Secret 4

There are mentors out there who really do care. I have found from personal experience that there are forex trading mentors who are willing to put in the time and effort to help their students succeed.

Even though these people are teaching you how to make money, it doesn’t mean that they are greedy. The great part is that most of these people have become successful because they truly love what they do and want to share it with as many people as possible.

Secret 5

The final secret is that although forex trading mentors are necessary for your success, you are ultimately responsible for your results. They can teach you everything they know, but if you do not press the buttons, enter the orders and hone your skills, you have no one to blame but yourself.
